Culinary Team
The Federation fund and operate 2 Scottish Culinary teams, the Junior Team for chefs up to the age of 23 years old and the Senior Team chefs aged over 23 years old.
As a member of The World Association of Chefs Societies we compete at a number of international culinary events, in 2012 we will compete with a Senior Culinary Team at the Culinary Olympics in Germany in October. We are currently ranked 12th in the world in the senior teams not bad for a wee country up against the might of countries such as USA and Canada
We will compete at the cold table display on Sunday 7 October 2012 and in the Hot Kitchen on Tuesday 9 October 2012.For the Hot Kitchen we will be working in one of the 9 bespoke kitchens that each cater for 110 covers.
If you would like to experience the Scottish Olympic meal you can support the team by coming along to the "pop up" restaurant at Motherwell College on the Monday 25th June.
